Introduction

RecycleMore is a public agency responsible for ensuring cost effective compliance with California’s Department of Recycling, Resources, and Recovery (CalRecycle) mandates for cities across West Contra Costa County. We developed the agency’s brand identity and executed a suite of public-facing campaigns aimed at increasing recycling awareness and compliance. Messaging was tailored for schools, businesses, residential households, apartment complexes, and specialized programs like motor oil recycling.

RESULTS Awareness significantly increased over a sustained three-year period. RecycleMore demonstrated strong compliance rates at or above 90% across both recycling and organics programs.
