Introduction
Creative Climate Lab (CCL) is an international storytelling initiative designed to unite world-class scientists and creatives in service of the planet. It pairs artists and researchers on field expeditions to climate-vulnerable regions—transforming complex science into emotionally resonant stories that spark global awareness and drive tangible action.
Our mission: to elevate ocean and polar research through visual storytelling, help audiences grasp the urgency of the climate crisis, and open new funding pathways for the vital work of our science partners. From coral restoration in Thailand to glacial melt in Antarctica, CCL embeds media teams directly alongside researchers to produce powerful narratives that entertain, explain, and inspire.
CCL will serve as a fellowship incubator, content publisher, and funding pipeline—supporting emerging talent and advancing scientific visibility. At the heart of the Lab is the belief that when science meets story, the world pays attention.
