Carolyn Gerin
CEO/Creative Director
Carolyn Gerin has deep experience in design, art direction, advertising, journalism, publishing, public outreach, and marketing, stemming from over 30 years of experience as a creative director, and branding and communications expert.
She has designed products and packaging for Williams Sonoma, published 4 books with Chronicle Books and Random House, run  three creative agencies, and served as Sr. Editor for an international travel magazine, and built brands for international companies, landmark public works projects for government agencies, and is an avid community builder for social good.
She began her career as an assistant art director for Catholic University, and worked at the Washington Post as an advertising designer. She moved to the Bay Area and started her first agency: Subset Inc., and branded newsworthy public works projects such as the East Span Bridge, Pier 27-21 and Pier 45 Port of SF, the SMART Train, the San Francisco Mid-Market Redevelopment Project, and the City of El Cerrito. She worked closely with government agencies such as the Association of Bay Area Governments, CalTrans, the US Navy and more. She won awards at the state level for excellence in communications design from the California governors’ office. She also co-founded the world’s first wedding and technology conference in Maui — WedTech Summit — powered by the Hawaiian governments’ Hawaii Technology Development Corporation with sponsorship from Virgin Airlines.
With the devastation of the COVID-19 virus (and recent infrastructure needs), she built a powerhouse team for Sigla Creative: experienced, talented communications pros, to ‘build back better’ for government clients.
Throughout her career she has been focused on branding and storytelling for national, international, nonprofit and government clients with respect and ability. She has been a voice, volunteer, designer, and writer for indigenous tribes, conservation, voting rights, and social justice. Her vast experience across the media, government, and private sector has made her an invaluable asset to her clients. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Applied Design from the University of Maryland, College Park. She holds a Master of Arts in Integrated Design from the University of Baltimore, where she served as a scholarship Graduate Fellow, and took top honors in her department: The Ampersand Award and grant; and Spirit of Excellence Award and grant from the Merrick School of Business. 
Carolyn lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, sails, and renovates a vintage sailboat in her spare time.

Logan Brown
Senior Designer
Logan Brown comes to the team as a photographer, designer, and marketing specialist with experience in tourism, small businesses, and direct-to-consumer marketing. He is a multi-talented creative with print, digital, email, photography, video, and web content creation skills.
Logan started his career as a photojournalist, copy editor, and designer with newspapers such as The Greeley Tribune and The Rocky Mountain News. He covered a wide variety of events and stories including breaking news, sports, longform features, and national presidential politics.
He later switched careers to join Apple Inc, working in technical support, and managing visual merchandising, training, and consumer sales teams. He managed Visual Merchandising staff while overseeing revenue targets and training for a sales department that generated $10 million quarterly. He led a 45-person team technical department at the busiest retail location in the Washington, DC metro area. Throughout his career, he has also managed his own freelance design company, working as a photographer, designer, and marketing specialist with experience in tourism, small businesses, and direct-to-consumer marketing. Clients have included hotels, resorts, bars, restaurants, graphic design studios, media, and consultancy groups.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Journalism School at the University of Colorado with a specialty in Photojournalism.
Logan is a PADI scuba diving instructor, underwater photographer, and speedboat captain.
